Constitutional Ban on Same Sex Marriage Proposed

Although it seems more like a publicity stunt than a true possibility, Senator Bill Frist has stated that he will support a Constitutional ban on gay marriages.

Considering the recent change in Canada's marriage laws, and the fact that getting a Constitutional amendment passed by both the Senate and the House, and 38 states, this proposal is definitely something that isn't going to happen any time soon.
