Fainting Bride

Monday October 20, 2003
Here is a great post on our forum to "sadbride" who is upset about fainting at her wedding:
"My nephew's bride fainted during their ceremony. They brought in a chair for her, he kneeled beside her and they completed the ceremony--

My SIL told our nephew that it was a rare young man who could make his bride swoon on their wedding day!

You should look at this as only a small part of your wedding day. IF anyone bothers you about it, say something like "Well, Bobby still just knocks me off my feet" and go on.

Brides and grooms and wedding party members pass out quite regularly at weddings, btw-- stress, low blood sugar (the occasional hangover) and standing with one's knees locked can do it. Make it a light-hearted part of your memories and ignore anyone who tries to make you fell bad about it."
