What Went Wrong?

On the surface, Mary and Matthew Winkler's relationship appeared to be a solid, loving relationship. Their marriage was described as a "good Christian family" with no apparent problems.

What could cause a religious young wife and mother to kill her husband in their bedroom and then move with her three young daughters to another state?

Mary was said to be quiet and unassuming. She had 4 pregnancies in their 10 year marriage. Is this a case of emotional abuse or possibly a result of trying to live as a submissive wife?

Mary struggled with the loss of a baby in a miscarriage before their one-year old daughter Breanna was born. Did the expectation of a minister having a perfect marriage leave Mary with no one to share her feelings, fears, doubts, and thoughts with?
