Six Weeks Traveling Together in a Car - Day 2
We have a sleeping issue. We've always had a sleeping issue. However, at home, it is easier to handle.
On the road, when Bob gets the room to a sizzling heat level, there's no where for me to go to cool down. If I turn the heat to the mid 60's, Bob ends up unable to sleep.
So, we are going to compromise and agree to a temperature of 68 degrees. We are looking for a small thermometer to keep us both honest.
Aside from not getting much sleep, Day 2 was a delight. We spent part of the day on back roads in Oregon, and then took the freeways into the Oakland area. We walked through a couple small towns, drove through the clouds through some mountain passes, and enjoyed a wonderful evening with our son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter.
Watching our son get his one-year old daughter ready for bed by reading her a story was wonderful.
