The first episode focused on a stereotypical attitude that wives don't want their husbands to have fun. That was bothersome.
Although we did find ourselves laughing as well as cringing as we watched the show, the notion that couples are "stayiing together so you have someone to drive you to the hospital for your operations" didn't bring about smiles.
We do believe that the show, "written by real-life husband and wife Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa", does have potential if the writers can show more of the perceived sense of deep love that the long-married couple has for one another and less negativity about marriage.
