Visits with In-Laws

Tomorrow is the big day! One of our sons is getting married! Tonight we will gather with the bride's family for an informal get together. We will be meeting most of them for the first time.

Even though we've been involved with in-laws -- his, mine, our kids' in-laws, etc -- for many years and know that all will be okay, we still feel a bit nervous. That just doesn't change!

We know the most important thing we can do is to be up front with one another and with our kids and future in-laws and other family members about our expectations of the next few days.
