08/08/08 -- Great Day for a Wedding!

Our family has grown! We've been in Hawaii, along with adult kids and grandkids, for the wedding of our son Ken to his lovely Cherlyn. Listening to them say their wedding vows was so moving -- there weren't too many dry eyes in the chapel.

The minister reminded Ken and Cher of the importance of working together as a team, communicating, dealing with conflict and not avoiding it, and how they shouldn't try to change one another. We were impressed.

Along with being able to attend such a beautiful wedding, this trip to Hawaii was enjoyable because we rented a beach house, EwaLani. Being together with the kids in such a relaxing and comfortable home helped make this trip a wonderful experience.
