Limbaugh and His "Mouth" Comment

Thursday August 14, 2008
So, according to Rush Limbaugh, a wife is to blame if her husband strays. Limbaugh is way off the mark on this topic!

We doubt Limbaugh blames a husband if his wife cheats.

In the blog The Plank, Michelle Cottle shared her thoughts about Rush Limbaugh putting the blame on Elizabeth Edwards for John Edwards deciding to cheat. Michelle wrote, "I don't know that this tells us anything useful about the Edwards' relationships. But it certainly sheds some light on why Rush is thrice divorced."

Here is what Limbaugh said: "... Edwards might be attracted to a woman whose mouth did something other than talk."

We agree with Michelle.

We also hope that those of you coping with the heartache of an unfaithful spouse realize it is not your fault if your spouse cheats. You are not to blame for your spouse's decision to stray.

You know, I just heard an old comment by Senator Edwards that has bearing on this. He said he didn’t want to be thought of as a “Ken Doll.” Seems to me that he’s proven he has even fewer brains than that famous 12-inch plastic figure of a man. And speaking of intelligent men, what can we say about Mr. Limbaugh? Sometimes, I actually do find him funny, but this time, he ought to apologize and grovel abjectly in the nearest male-chauvinist-pig pen. Considering these two fine figures of a man, it’s not hard to believe that Elizabeth Edwards is smarter. Besides, she’s not the one that tried to hide from a male reporter in the men’s room!!!
