Today's Discovery

I've thought the VW Beetle was cute since I was in high school. I've always wanted a VW convertible bug. I'd even settle for a regular VW bug.

Today Bob was cleaning out a storage area over our pantry. We just discovered this unknown space. We want to make it easily accessible from the top of the staircase and use it to store our holiday decorations.

While cleaning the area out, Bob found lots of children's paperbacks, a few vintage toy boxes, and one space ship looking thing -- and a mint condition Dynawheels VW custom convertible bug (D106).

He came in the living room with a big smile, gave the tiny car to me, and said, "Now you have your VW bug!"

Since buying me a car is not one of our financial goals, I laughed with him. But it would be nice if he found some money stashed in that new-to-us space!
