Are you a Frog Farmer in Your Marriage?

I think Alison Armstrong's type of thinking comes across as both gender bashing and manipulation. Where is the personal responsibility of both partners? Shouldn't you communicate concern if your spouse is "bringing out the worst in you?"

The first aha! came from hearing about a conversation a friend had with an older man:
"He went on to explain that some women turn frogs into princes; a Frog Farmer turns princes into frogs."

The second aha! happened when a friend of hers told her that she had to stop castrating men:
"She said, "I'm not asking this for you. I'm asking you to stop castrating men because I believe when women stop castrating men, men will give us everything we ever wanted. Including peace and the end of hunger."

Armstrong's conclusion:
"I found out that men are both the prince and the frog. And that we have a lot to do with which one we get."

What do you think?
