Between Two Diets

Today is World Vegan Day and a marriage between a vegan and a non-vegan can face challenges. Although I'm a vegetarian and Bob likes his meat and potatoes type of meals, our marriage hasn't been harmed by our differing diets.

Your marriage isn't doomed just because one of you eats meat and one of you doesn't or just because one of you is on a diet and the other doesn't worry about calories.

As in many areas of your marriage, one of the keys to coping with having different food preferences is respect for one another's choices. I feel special and important when Bob prepares his tasty spaghetti sauce without meat!
