Spouse 2.0 Day -- A Day for Neglected Spouses

Friday December 12, 2008
If you think you may be neglecting your spouse, you probably are. According to The New York Times technology writer, Claire Cain Miller, December 12, 2008 is the celebration of Spouse 2.0 Day.

Spouse 2.0 Day challenges founders of internet start-ups to purchase a present for their significant others.

Event organizer Ashley Angell said, "Because of the long hours that traditionally come with running an Internet start-up business, everything else seems to get pushed aside, like friends, family ... It is a way to recognize that no matter how difficult it is to have an Internet start-up, it’s also difficult being a partner of an Internet start-up founder."

The reality is that neglected spouses deserve more than a gift today and recognition. We hope that folks who relate to Spouse 2.0 Day not only recognize they should spend more time with their spouse, but that they make the decision to create more quality time with their spouse!
