Curious Buffalo

Checking in from Coalinga, California. Although we didn't drive very far today and stopped early this afternoon, we are both very tired.
We stopped to look at buffalo along Hwy 198. They seemed friendly enough and walked over to check Bob out when he stood near the fence. I stayed in the car.
One of the things we noticed and talked about today was the number of abandoned homes and gardens along the way. It is sad to think of the hopes and dreams and possible marriages that were abandoned along with those homes and roses.
