Plant a Vegetable Garden Together to Help Your Tight Budget

Although Bob has loved gardening since he was a young boy, I really dislike pulling weeds. However, as fresh produce and gas prices continue to soar, I have a new appreciation for Bob's vegetable garden. Photo: David McNew / Getty Images

My mom reminded me of my dad's vegetable gardens. I remember one garden that he fenced so rabbits and other critters couldn't munch away on his growing crop. Then dad discovered that he had fenced a rabbit inside the garden!
