Last Day in Marshfield

Checking in from Marshfield, Massachusetts. Today is our last day in Marshfield. We've had a wonderful visit.

Along with walking the beach with us near the cottage we rented, our son and his girl friend have been giving us a tour of the area. We've been to World's End for a long walk, Fort Revere and Hull, Massachusetts for more beautiful scenery, Logee's to see the 108 year-old lemon tree and other tropical plants, and Jake's Seafood Restaurant where Bob enjoyed a lobster dinner.

Although we've enjoyed our trip and especially our visit with Larry and Sonja, we are looking forward to heading home. Saying goodbye to one of our kids is always difficult, but we know that we'll be seeing all the kids again as summer winds down. We've done a lot of talking on this trip about things we want to do to the house and yard, and we want to get started!
