"Wife Swap" is Looking for Romantic Couples

Monday May 23, 2005
Now that the casting for the second season of "Wife Swap" has started, Heather Teta of ABC Television has asked us for help in locating couples who still make time for romance.

From Heather: "...don't be confused by the title. The premise is this: two moms from two different families switch places (but not bedrooms) for 10 days to experience what it's like to walk in another's shoes - exploring the differences in family dynamics, values, parenting, etc. We're starting a new season and what we've seen most in interested applicants is a complete lack of passion in the marriage. These couples love each other but really have trouble showing it or maintaining the spark that they once had. So, what we're looking for are families with children (ages 5-18) that still maintain passion, keeping the fire alive in their marriages from anything like the usual flowers and candy to the more meaningful smaller gestures on a constant basis. We're looking for couples that maintain their romance and know how to show it in every way - and who might encourage others to do the same. There is a financial compensation to families that participate with the show."

Wow! Now this show is looking to ruin more relationships. What a surprise. If you know anything about this show, you’ll know to run the other way when you see ads like this. The ad is a lie. The show is a lie.
