If you are a teenager and want to get married, here are teen marriage license laws throughout the world.

Bahamas:

If you are under the age of 18, you will need parental consent.

Bermuda:

Minors are persons who are age 16 to not yet 21 years old. They must have notarized written consent of both parents or the surviving parent or legal guardian. No one under the age of 16 may marry in Bermuda.

Belize:

Applicants under 18 years of age need to have parental consent.

Canada:

All but one Province requires that a couple be 18 years of age in order to marry without parental permission. British Columbia sets the age of majority at 19. Although a few areas will waive this requirement if there is a pregnancy, the couple may still have to have court approval.

Costa Rica:

If under the age of 18, you will need parental consent.

Egypt:

If under the age of 18, you will need parental consent.

England and Wales:

If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must have the written consent of your parents or legal guardian.

Germany:

If you are under the age of 18, you must have the written, notarized consent of your parents or legal guardian.

Lebanon:

In Lebanon, the age of capacity is 18 years for men and 17 for women. With guardian permission, the ages are 17 for males and 9 for women. For Shi'a, with judicial permission, 15 for males, and 9 for females. For Druze, with judicial permission, 16 for males and 15 for females.

Mexico:

Parental consent is required if either applicant is under the age of 18.

The Philippines:

If you are under the age of 18, you can not get married in the Philippines even if your parents are okay with the marriage. Individuals must be at least 21 years old to get married in the Philippines without written parental consent. If your parents cannot appear with you before the local civil registrar, a legal affidavit with the signatures of two witnesses may be accepted.

Slovenia:

Eighteen (18) is the legal age to be allowed to marry in Slovenia. Children who are at least 15 years of age can be officially married, provided that the social work centre interviews the minor, the prospecive spouse, and the parents or guardian of the minor and then determines that the minor is well grounded. (Article 18 of the Marriage and Family Relations Act)

Spain:

If you are under the age of 18, you cannot get married in Spain.

Sweden:

You have to be 18 years of age to get married in Sweden.

United States:

Varies from state to state, though generally, most states require parental consent for those under 18 years of age.
