Couples Argue!

Don't Avoid Disagreements

By Sheri & Bob Stritof, About.com Guides

One of the common myths about marriage is that happily married couples don't argue. It's just the opposite. Happily married couples do argue, but they fight for their relationship and not to win.

Disagreements are inevitable in a marriage. It is important for a couple to learn how to deal with small annoyances. If these are not acknowledged, they can lead to big arguments.

The difference in couples who have long term relationships and couples who end up in divorce is how they fight. Learn how to fight fair. Not dealing with conflict leads to apathy and indifference which are signs that a marriage is in trouble.
