Why bother with romance when you're married? Gregory Godek in 1001 Ways
to Be Romantic says it best, "It will improve the quality of your life."
Bob's sense of romance is often shown by his stopping the car and rushing over to
a patch of flowering weeds to pick me a bouquet. These weed bouquets go back to
our dating days over 30 years ago, and he warms my heart every time he does it.
Another statement of Godek's is that a balance is needed in romance... "Actions speak
louder than words. It's the thought that counts." So often couples get caught up in
having to buy things or think they can't be romantic when there isn't any money in
their wallet. Nonsense!!
I enjoy putting little notes around for Bob to find. Just remembering to grab hold
of his hand when we are shopping, and not leave him behind in my quest for a good
deal, is an act of romance, and one that is very important to him!

more ideas.
Romance is not about self sacrifice. It is living each day as if it were your last
one together. It is making things nice for one another and leaving the bathroom
clean. It is paying attention to one another and creating private times with one
another. It's wanting to be together. It's fully experiencing the present moment
with your loved one.
