Elizabeth Taylor's marriage to Eddie Fisher was considered a scandal. Although Eddie considered his marriage to Debbie Reynolds already over before he began his affair with Elizabeth, Liz was called a home wrecker.

Eddie Fisher: Eddie died from complications after hip surgery at the age of 82 at his home in Berkeley, California on September 22, 2010.

Elizabeth Taylor: Elizabeth died from congestive heart failure at the age of 79 on March 23, 2011. She died at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, California. Her children were with her when she died.

Eddie and Elizabeth and their spouses were close friends.

Nine months after Eddie and Liz started their romance, and three and a half hours after he divorced Debbie, Eddie and Elizabeth were married on May 12, 1959 in Las Vegas, Nevada at Temple Beth Sholam. They honeymooned in the Mediterranean on a yacht loaned to them by Sam Spiegel. They also spent time on their honeymoon in Spain.

Elizabeth and Eddie did not have any children.

Eddie had four children.

Eddie: Singer, actor.

Eddie's affair with Elizabeth was too soon after the tragic death of her husband and Eddie's best friend, Michael Todd. Eddie and Elizabeth's quick marriage created controversy and scandal that negatively impacted Eddie's career.

Eddie and Elizabeth were divorced in March 1964. For awhile Eddie claimed their Mexican divorce wasn't valid.

• Debbie Reynolds: Eddie and Debbie were married in a simple, short ceremony on September 26, 1955 in Grossinger, New York. Eddie was 27 and Debbie was 23. Their marriage ended in divorce in May 1959.

• Connie Stevens: Eddie and Connie were married on February 9, 1967 in San Juan, Puerto Rico in the mayor's chambers. They divorced in 1969.

• Terry Richard: Eddie and Terry, a beauty queen, were married on October 29, 1975. Eddie was 47 and Terry was 21 when they married. They divorced in April 1976.
