Perky, effervescent, and full of energy in the movies, Betty Hutton's personal life wasn't as upbeat. She was married four times and had difficult relationships with her children.

Born:

Elizabeth "Betty" June Thornburg: February 26, 1921 in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Died:

Betty: March 11, 2007 in her apartment in Palm Springs, California at the age of 86 from complications from colon cancer.

Betty's funeral was on March 14, 2007 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cathedral City, California.

At 11 a.m. on March 23, 2007, a memorial service was held in Palm Springs at St. Theresa Catholic Church.

Marriages:

All four of Betty Hutton's marriages ended in divorce.

Children:

Betty Hutton had three daughters, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

  • Candice "Candy" Elizabeth Briskin: Born in 1948. Her father is Ted Briskin.
  • Carolyn Candoli: Born in 1962. Her father is Pete Candoli.

Betty: Actress, comedian, singer, dancer. In later life she worked as a cook and housekeeper at a catholic rectory in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
