Christina Maria Aguilera: Born on December 18, 1980 in Staten Island, New York.

Jordan Bratman: Born in June 1977. Although Christina threw a birthday party for Jordan on June 4, 2005, we can't verify that date as his birthday.

How Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman Met, Proposal and Engagement:

The couple met in 2002. At the time, Jordan worked at Azoff Music Management, which is Christina's management company. Her manager Irving Azoff introduced Jordan and Christina to one another.


On February 11, 2005, the couple was in a Carmel, California hotel room filled with rose petals, balloons, and gift boxes. Each box had a poem written by Jordan. When Christina opened the last box which had a ring in it, Jordan got down on one knee and said, "Will you do me the honor of being my wife?"

Christina and Jordan had their families meet in April, 2005, at a party in Santa Monica. The decorations included mini wedding cakes and rose petals on the tables. Jordan carried Christina over the threshold of the restaurant.

The pair had a joint bachelor/bachelorette party with a Halloween theme at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on October 28, 2005. Christina wore a nurse costume and Jordan dressed as a doctor.

Wedding Date and Ceremony:

Christina arrived at her wedding ceremony in a white Rolls Royce Phantom. Christina and Jordan had a sunset wedding in a tent near a forest on November 19, 2005 at Staglin Family Vineyard in northern California's Napa Valley.

The ceremony with about 130 guests was described as being lavish. Among the guests were Christina's mother, her dancing team, and her manager Irving Azoff.

Jordan and Christina had a rehearsal dinner with a Japanese-theme on the Friday prior to their wedding at Napa Valley's Auberge Du Soleil resort.

The couple asked their wedding guests to not bring wedding gifts. The guests were asked to donate to the Hurricane Katrina and Rita relief funds.

Wedding Attire:

The wedding dress that Christina Aguilera wore was designed by Christian Lacroix. She wore her hair pulled back in a bun and decorated in jewels and white flowers. The couple's wedding bands were designed by Stephen Webster of London. He was the designer for Christina's five-carat diamond and platinum engagement ring.

Stevie Wonder's wife, Kai Milla, designed the bridesmaids' dresses.

Children:

The news that Christina and Jordan were expecting their first child was first revealed by her father, then by Paris Hilton. Christina confirmed the rumors in November 2007.
