Keith Lionel Urbahn, aka Keith Urban: October 26, 1967 in Whangarei, North Island, New Zealand. He was raised on a 12-acre farm in Caboolture, Queensland, Australia.
How Nicole and Keith Met:
Keith and Nicole first met in Los Angeles, California in January 2005 at an awards dinner that the Australian government held in honor of famous Australians.Nicole and Keith reportedly spent Thanksgiving and Christmas in 2005 at Keith's Nashville home with both sets of parents. A favorite strolling place of the couple is Cheekwood Botanical Gardens.
Their first public appearance together was at the Grammy Awards in February, 2006. Although Nicole was spotted wearing an engagement ring in November, 2005, Keith and Nicole did not announce their engagement until May 13, 2006.
Residences:
- Mansion in the Green Hills neighborhood of Nashville.
- Waterfront home at Darling Point in Sydney, Australia.

So it was fortuitous that Keith happened to live in Tennessee. He brought me down to this place called Leipers Fork, just outside of Nashville, very lush and rural. I just went aaah. Pre-Wedding Celebrations:
- Bachelorette Party: June 21, 2006, hosted by Nicole's sister Antonia. Guests included Wendy Day, Naomi Watts, and relatives and friends.
- Bachelor Party: June 23, 2006. Keith stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel prior to their wedding. His bachelor party was described as a quiet one at a local bar.

Wedding Ceremony:
A Jesuit priest and 30-year family friend, Father Paul Coleman was the officiant at the candlelit ceremony with 1000 candles held just after sundown.To the music of a quartet from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, her father who walked her down the aisle under a spotlight. Nicole and Keith said traditional vows to one another.
Wedding Attire:
The gown had "softly pleated Empire-style sleeves, Cornelli lacework".
She wore pearl drop earrings, Christian Louboutin heels, a sheer veil, and carried a simple bouquet of white roses.
Keith was dressed in a black suit with a white vest and had a white rose in his lapel.
Bridal Party:
Nicole's sister Antonia was her maid of honor. Her niece Lucia was the flower girl.
Keith's brother Shane was best man, and nephew Blake processed in with Lucia.
After the ceremony, the chapel bells rang for five minutes.
Wedding Reception:
The reception was held in a white marquee that was erected on the St. Patrick's Estate for the occasion. It was decorated with thousands of white and pink roses.
People.com about the wedding reception: "Both Jackman and Crowded House's Neil Finn performed at the reception, which had a "passion" theme and red color scheme – including red carnations hanging from huge chandeliers and red roses on the tables."
Nicole and Keith asked for no gifts at their wedding. They asked their nearly 230 guests to donate money to the Sydney Children's Hospital.
Honeymoon:
