Wedding Date:

March 18, 2006. Russell and Laura were married in an afternoon wedding at Clear Lake Church of Christ near Houston, Texas. It is the same church he chose for the funeral for his five drowned children. According to the Rev. Byron Fike who conducted the wedding ceremony, Laura wore a "white, backless dress with spaghetti straps and her hair in curls." There was one bridesmaid and one groomsman.

About 100 people attended the half-hour ceremony and reception.

Previous Marriages:

Both Russell and Laura have been married before.

Children:

Russell and Laura have a son, born in 2008.

Russell: Five children, ages 6 months to 7 years, all drowned in the bathtub by his first wife, Andrea, on June 20, 2001.

Laura: Two sons, ages 21 and 9.

Russell is a NASA engineer. Laura works for a NASA contractor.
