Running away from a wedding is a tough decision as portrayed the brides and grooms in these movies that are listed in no particular order.

Whether they are the ones who ran away or they are the ones left stranded at the altar, these jittery, nervous, runaway brides have one thing in common. They all have beautiful wedding gowns!

1. It Had to be You (1947)

This is one of my favorite movies, but it is impossible to find either on VHS or DVD. To prove this wonderful movie exists, I've included a photo showing the DVD cover in Italian.
