Hunger Strike
Hunger Strike

By Sheri & Bob Stritof, About.com Guide

M. has decided to go on a hunger strike to get his wife to talk to him. .

Question

I have come to a conclusion. I know it's a bit drastic but, I have no other choice.

My wife will not compromise in talking to me.. I have spoken with lawyers and they have all told me that the grounds she wants to take for divorce aren't worth getting divorced over.

There isn't any real evidence on why she wants to get a divorce. She says that she will talk to me about it but, never does. I come from a long line of Irish Activist's and I have come to one conclusion......

HUNGER STRIKE!

Here are my demands:

1. To go to counseling.

2. To work together at a good and new relationship.

3. Spend more quality time together.

4. Refrain from arguing irresponsibly.

5. Regaining the love that was lost.

I'll come up with more demands as I go but the main reason why is just to go to counseling to save our marriage.

My strike starts at midnight tonight.

Thanks again for everything, but I'm at a loss.
