Divorce Husband in Prison

Divorce Husband in Prison

Answer

You haven't mentioned loving him. He wasn't a good husband prior to incarceration. He isn't showing good communication or relationship skills now. Even while in prison he is continuing to try and control your life. These are red flags that you should pay attention to.

If he is a truly changed man, if he can show that he has "grown up" and can make it as an honest guy in this world, and if you are not married again by the time he is released from prison, he can try to rebuild his relationship with you at that time.

I know this is a difficult decision for you to make. Have you had any counseling to help you with it?
