I need major help with a problem that I'm having. I'm 15 years old and my boyfriend is 20. We want to get married and we both live in California.However, my mother and father both dislike him and they want to press charges against him. I saw a letter on your page from a girl that was also 15 years of age. I agree with what she is saying.
My mother and my father think that I am to young to love and that I am just a stupid teenager that has no idea what I'm talking about.
I'm wondering if him and I went to a counselor and went to get a court order saying that we can get married, would he get arrested since I am underage? We have never had sex together and don't plan to until I am of a legal age or if we can follow through with the marriage.
Would he get arrested? He has told me that regardless of what my mother says he is going to love me forever. Please help me.
I'm scared of what is to come with my life. I don't have a close relationship with my parents. They don't approve of us. We have been dating a year behind their backs and my mother claims to press charges if she finds out of him and I together at anytime.
Is there any other way him and I could get married without the consent of my parents? Please email me back so I know how to handle my problem.
