Prenuptial Agreement
Prenuptial Agreement

By Sheri & Bob Stritof, About.com

V. wants to know if prenuptial agreements can protect only one party.

Question

My name is V. My fiance and her parents are insisting on making a prenuptial agreement before we move in. Prenuptial agreements are not my lifestyle and I would like to try avoid involving myself into the make of one. I am not interested to protect anything, but I would like to make them feel protected.

Is there any type of prenuptial agreement that protects only one side? I would like them to make something like that where I could just sign it, never see it again and get it out of the way.

I hope you understand my concerns.
