- Mary Ann Pearce: Mickey and Mary Ann met in Greenwood, Mississippi. They married in 1945, and divorced in 1962. They had four children. Mickey described Mary Ann as a "wife-type wife."
- Selma (Sherri) Malinou: Sherri Malinou of Providence, Rhode Island met Mickey when she was the model for the back cover of his book The Girl Hunters. An actress, she was later a Los Angeles publicist. They married in November 1964 when she was 23 and Mickey was 46. Having lived apart for several years, they bitterly divorced in 1983.
Mickey: Professional writer, best known for his detective Mike Hammer mystery series. During World War II, Mickey was an Army flight instructor.
Jane: Former beauty queen and fitness instructor.
Since the 1950s, Mickey has resided in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina at old Jordan Landing. Much of his first home was destroyed in 1989 by Hurricane Hugo. He rebuilt on the same location.
During the 1970s, Mickey also had a home in Newburgh, New York and an apartment in New York City.
Mickey and Jane enjoyed going to the movies and dining out.
