Alan and Shayne Culpepper

Alan and Shayne Culpepper are one of several married couples to compete for the United States in the 2004 Olympics. Alan will compete in the Men's Marathon, while Shane will compete in the Women's 5000m Track & Field Event.

Alan Culpepper was born September 15, 1972 in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Shayne Wille Culpepper was born December 3, 1973 in Atlanta, Georgia.
How They Met:
In the summer of 1995, they met as track teammates at a University of Colorado preseason cross country training camp.

November 9, 1997.
Occupations:
Together, they own a graphic design business named Culpepper Mill.
Children:
Cruz Samuel Culpepper was born April 10, 2002.
Education and Hobbies:
Alan has a degree in geography and sociology.
Shayne has a degree in political science.

Alan plays the guitar and piano. Shayne enjoys doing stuff around the new home they just built. They both enjoy taking road trips and visiting family.

Boulder, Colorado.

This will be the second trip to the Olympics for both of them.
