Sheri & Bob Stritof
marriage.guide@about.com

We are Sheri and Bob Stritof, and for 34 years, the two of us have been working on enriching our own marriage.

Since we own a "mom and pop" type of store, we run/manage/and disorganize it together. Our marriage has given us the opportunity to have parented together four great kids and provides us with a lot of great stories.

We've been a presenting team on Marriage Encounter weekends, and we are currently a presenting team on Engaged Encounter Weekends. We are also consultants for Our Sunday Visitor, and the founders and directors of Good Earth Ministry Support. Aside from the school of hard knocks, our education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in History (really useful, huh?), and we're working towards a Master of Arts in Family Ministry.

During the past twenty years, we've also presented workshops on communication skills, group enrichment, family issues, and relationships. We love spending time with one another, our kids, watching movies on TV, traveling, reading, genealogy, and finger foods.

Our marriage has not always been the greatest. We were divorced during our eighth year... and were remarried to one another in our tenth year. We feel very lucky to have discovered not only communication tools, but that there are many couples throughout the world who will support us and challenge us throughout the years.

It is our hope that we'll not only all learn from one another at this site, but that we will have fun, too. We want to review movies, both old and new, that deal with marriage, and check out books and magazine articles about marriage. We want to hear from you, too, and to learn what you've been seeing on the movie screen or on TV, or in books, etc., that deal with marriage. Maybe we can pick up some new ideas to enrich our own marriage for the next 40 years!
