Be Honest

I am in my first year of my marriage. We both have been married before and have had some financial issues in past marriages. I have realized that the best thing to do before getting married is to lay all money issues on the table. Don't hide anything thinking it's not the right time. It will only cause big problems in the future not coming clean. I made sure I was up front with my husband about my money troubles from the past. I discussed prior spending habits, and any debts that I had or have. Over the weekend I went to get our taxes done -- first year filing together because we got married July of 2010. While at H&R Block I learned what my husband really made and that he pulled all of his 401 k. He had mentioned before we got married that he was going to pull some out to help with the wedding. He did not bother to tell me that he pulled it all out and did not roll any over. I had no clue he did this until filling our taxes. This has caused us a lot of rough times. So please always be honest.
