By Sheri & Bob Stritof, About.com

Wanting to be able to spend or save money as they want, many married couples have a combination of separate and joint checking/savings accounts. How do the two of you handle your finances? What are your reasons for wanting a joint account, separate accounts, or a combination of the two? Share Your Reasons

No more joint account

Well, my husband of 15 years is usually real good about the money. We only have problems when he starts to like another woman and he wants to wine and dine her. He has done this twice in our marriage so I am done having a joint account if he is going to wine and dine one he will have to work two jobs to do it. I feel if someone wants to cheat go at it but you should know that for men it can be quite costly...don't forget the allimony or childsupport or both might be all you get to give your wife in the end.
