How They Met:

Jennifer and John were introduced by her aunt because they were both runners. In August, 2004, they became engaged ten months after they met.

John proposed while they were having dinner at his house. Although the couple lived together, they decided to remain chaste and to not have intimate relations with one another until they were married.

They set their wedding date for April 30, 2005. She purchased the bus ticket she used to run away on April 19th, but didn't actually run away until April 26th.
