1 Year for Sibling
- My Husband's Sister & her Husband got married the same year as us, so for their one year I wanted to so something sweet and small. I took some of their gorgeous wedding photos and overlaid the readings from their ceremony and their wedding song and then framed them - we also wrote a nice card. Something small. I plan on buying my husband tickets to a Ranger Game :)

- My husband is fascinated with water globes, so for our first anniversary (paper), I put our wedding pictures inside an special anniversary water globe with our names and wedding date engraved. He loved it!

- I created a book from a site called MyLoveBook.com where you select questions to answer about your relationship and then they publish your answers in a book to give. It was the perfect first anniversary gift to give because it really helped me communicate my feelings and reflect on our first year. The book was beautiful and my husband said he never felt so appreciated.

- For our first wedding anniversary, I got my husband a nice card that described the ways I feel about him. Hope this helps other newlyweds approaching their 1st wedding anniversary.

Name a Star
- Just before our 1 year anniversary, it just came to me...name a star and frame the paper certificate. The star-date is our wedding day and the name is a combination of both names. You can also "purchase" and name 2 separate stars as a couple. (International Star Registry)

Concert Tickets
- For our first anniversary, I bought tickets to go see one of our favorite groups live. Since they were bought through Ticketmaster, I printed them on fancy paper and placed them in a nice envelope. He was pleasantly surprised.

Combo
- I wanted to find a way to combine both traditional and modern, so I found a clock with three photo frames attached. My husband and I wrote each other poems, picked out different paper and fonts from a print shop and had them print out the poems to fit in two of the frames. Then we put a photo from our wedding day in the last frame. We love it!

- I made my wife 12 origami red roses. Took me 4 hours to perfect it off YouTube but once I did it was finished in no time at all :)
